I need help with my diamond or gemstoneUpdated a year ago

If you need help recutting, repolishing, repairing, or getting a certification for your diamond or gemstone, this work would be done by an outside party which we have no affiliation with (we specialize in designing and making jewelry, but diamond and gem cutting is a separate expertise). 

Below are some helpful resources that we have used or currently work with in the New York area, however, we advise you to use your best judgement to evaluate these vendors and use them at your own risk.   

1. For diamond or gemstone certification, the GIA is the gold standard and they run a world class operation.  
2. For a simple appraisal or diamond/gemstone verification (less formal than a lab certification), the Gemlab and their GIA graduate gemologists can help answer most common questions and provide an appraisal of your jewelry or gem. 
3. Gemstone lapidary service: New York Lapidary Service, or R Gems.
